We believe every person deserves the dignity, purpose, and joy that comes with meaningful work. So we built coffee shops good enough to earn your morning visit — and run by people the job market too often overlooks.
How it began
Inspired by her son Brody, who was born with Down syndrome, Jenny Cole set out to bridge the employment gap in her own community. In October 2019, that idea opened its doors as Brody's Be Café in Ada.
Three cafés later, the approach hasn't changed: hire for heart, train for skill, and hold the coffee to a standard worth coming back for.
What a Berista's path looks like

Start on the floor
New Beristas learn the café from the ground up — greeting guests, stocking, prepping, and keeping the space ready for the morning rush.

Learn the craft
Espresso, steaming, register, and order accuracy, with a job coach nearby for real-time feedback instead of a classroom binder.

Own the shift
As confidence grows, Beristas take on more responsibility and more independence in how they run their station.
